MODEL UNITED NATIONS
NETWORK

The Network is a program of the National Collegiate Conference Association (NCCA). Incorporated in 1968 as a nonprofit, educational corporation of the United States, the NCCA is a recognized Non-Governmental Organization associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information.

NCCA programs offer a diverse group of informed participants a forum for discussing global concerns in a context that closely parallels the "real world."

National Model United Nations is the premier event of the NCCA. Held annually in New York City, NMUN brings together more than 4,000 students from over 30 nations and five continents including Afghanistan, China, Egypt, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Mexico, the U.S.A. and twelve Western European countries regularly participate in NMUN programs.

NMUN PROGRAMS

• provide a diverse group of informed students and faculty a forum for addressing global concerns in a “real world” context.

• address important issues including regional conflicts, peacekeeping, human rights, women and children, economic and social development, and the environment.

• provide a better understanding of the inner working of the United Nations as students build skills in diplomacy and compromise.

OUR NETWORK

The Model UN Network is a premier source for college-level UN simulations worldwide. We provide a network of comprehensive resources that help students and faculty organize, prepare and deliver quality hands-on learning experiences.
